Friday Five: 9/26/14

It's Friday which means it is time to share what I have been loving this week!

1. Maybelline Matte Lipstick in Nude Embrace
There has been a lot of buzz about these new matte lipsticks from Maybelline so of course being the true makeup addict that I am, I had to get one! And of course being the true nude lipstick addict that I am, I had to get Nude Embrace! Although I probably own more nude lipsticks than I really need, I actually do think that this color is different than the other nudes that I own. Nude Embrace has a brown undertone to it, which I typically do not care for. But I love it in this formula! I don't think it comes of too brown on the lips and with it being a little bit of a darker nude, I love it for Fall! It is perfect for a daytime look and I love wearing it alone or with a gloss over it. Sometimes I feel like some matte formulas are too drying on the lips but this is super creamy and doesn't dry out at all. I really want the Wine color from this collection but it's always sold out wherever I go! Hopefully I can get my hands on it :)

2. Shea Butter Lip Balm by Pixi in Honey Nectar
Another lip product that I have been loving is this lip balm from Pixi. I received it in my Birchbox and was impressed I got a full size product for once in my box! Immediately after trying it out I knew I was going to love it. It is SUPER hydrating on the lips which will be so useful during fall and winter when my lips tend to get dry and chapped. But what I love even more is that it has color to it and it is pigmented! And it's a peachy-nude. Perfect for me! I could wear this lip balm without any lipstick, gloss, etc and I am still going to have a great wash of color on my lips. I definitely see this being a go-to lip product over the next several months when I need something moisturizing for my lips but want something to go with my overall makeup look. (This would even look awesome paired up with Nude Embrace!)

I apologize for you having to see my veiny wrists in all my swatches! ;P

3. Anastasia Beverly Hills Custom Contour Palette
Of course I have been loving my contour palette otherwise I would have not written about it this week! If you haven't checked out my review, click here to read about how amazing this palette is!

4. Blush Brush by Real Techniques
This is my first ever Real Techniques brush! I always intend on trying out Real Techniques, but I just have never gotten around to it. But I am happy I finally DID get around to it and I absolutely love this blush brush! I have not been using it for my blush though, I have been loving it for contouring! I love how it tapers up at the top and it is just the perfect size and shape for contouring! It does an amazing job at dispersing my bronzer and blends it out perfectly. This brush is also incredibly soft! It feels amazing! I am so happy with this brush and I can't wait to try out other brushes from Real Techniques.

5. Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation (in 3W1 Tawny)
HOLY. MOLY. I am going to try to keep this to a minimum, but if this gets a little long I just can't help myself! I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS FOUNDATION!!! It is hands down the best foundation I have ever tried in my entire life and has already made it as a holy grail product for me. About a month ago, I had talked about how happy I was with the Make Up For Ever HD Foundation. I still think it is a great foundation and will continue to use it. But then I tried out this baby. And this is the love of my life! This gives the most flawless look to my face I have ever seen. It is a full coverage foundation and if I apply it at 8am, at 6pm it is still going to look exactly like it did at 8am. I am not even kidding! It covers any imperfection and this foundation alone gives me so much confidence just knowing how amazing it makes my skin looks. I have mentioned before that I truly believe that having a great foundation is the key to having a beautiful makeup look... and this exceeds all my expectations! Stop at an Estee Lauder counter and ask for a sample of this if you have not tried it out! I think you will agree how incredible it is!

Have a wonderful weekend, lovelies!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit (Custom Palette)

Hi Beauties!

As I continue to learn more and more about makeup, highlighting and contouring have become a favorite of mine! I have been interested in the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit since it came out this past spring. Of course it sold out immediately when it was released because everyone had to have it! And with me being in Europe and having no access to it anyways, I kind of put it in the back of my mind by the time I was back in the States for the summer.

About a month ago, I was doing some online makeup shopping trying to decide on what new highlighters and bronzers I should get. I remembered Anastasia Beverly Hills had now released so many more shades to make a custom contour palette, so I decided to look into it!

Honestly, the original contour kit would have worked just fine with my skin tone. I picked several of the same shades that are in the original one for my custom palette, but I wanted to personalize it just a little bit more for myself and what I like.

Anastasia Hills Custom Contour Palette

The custom Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Palette retails for $40 (the original is also $40). You get to choose 6 pans to fill your palette. Anastasia does an AMAZING job at giving a wide selection for light to dark skin. They even have categories to choose from like skin tone and undertone that give you suggestions on what is going to look good on you. It is so helpful!

If you want, you could have all 6 of your choices as bronzers or mix it up however you like! For me, I chose 2 highlighters, 1 setting powder and 3 bronzers.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Custom Contour Palette
(in natural light)

Anastasia Beverly Hills Custom Contour Palette
(with flash)
Top Row: Champagne, Sand, Banana
Bottom Row: Fawn, Java, Clay

Highlighters: Champagne and Sand. They are both so pretty! Champagne is a true champagne color that is shimmery. Sand is more of pinky-beige with a pearl finish. They both give such a beautiful natural highlight. They are not overpowering and sometimes I do feel like I have to build it up just a little bit to get the perfect highlight. That doesn't bother me though that I have to work at the perfect pigmentation I want because they really are so stunning! I think these highlights would look fabulous on anyone.

Setting Powder: Banana. OK... I had to check out the infamous Banana! Everyone just raves about it and how it is the perfect setting powder for under-eye concealer. I was a little on the fence about it because I couldn't quite comprehend how a yellow-based powder is going to look good under my eyes! But I decided I had to see what it was all about! It truly is a great powder to set your under-eye concealer. Even though it is yellow-based, you can not see it whatsoever. It just melts right into your concealer. I don't notice is changing the color or brightening it, but I do believe that it does a great job at setting my concealer and keeping it in place all day long!

Bronzers: Fawn, Java, Clay. These three bronzers are all matte and I believe all of the bronzers they offer are matte as well (but could be wrong!). Fawn is the lightest bronzer of the three and has a little bit of a gray undertone. I think that Java is a great bronzer for light-medium skin tones as it is a true golden brown bronzer and looks like a perfect, everyday bronzer. Clay was the one that intimidated me most when I saw it. Fawn and Java look very close in color to what the website shows, but Clay looks very different than what I saw. It is much more orange looking than what is pictured on the website and I thought it was going to be way too intense on my skin. But after trying it out, I actually really like it. It does not come off as orange at all, just a nice deep brown. I just have to use a light hand and it really gives me a chiseled, defined contour. This would be a great one for light-medium skin tones who are looking for a bronzer to contour a full-on glam look!

I think the custom Contour Palette that Anastasia Beverly Hills offers is incredible. Everyone is going to be able to find what they need based on their skintone because there is such a wide variety to choose from... They offer 27 colors! Amazing! I also think that the value is awesome. $40 is a great price for the quality and quantity that you are getting with this palette. The individual pans are retailed at $14 each, but when you get this palette with 6, they are more than half the price off for each pan! If you love to highlight and contour, making a custom palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills is definitely for you! I am in LOVE with it and you will be too :)

Friday Five: 9/19/14

Is it really Friday again??

I try to post a couple times a week, but this week I didn't get around to it. I got caught up trying to solve the problem of my computer not allowing me to access my photos. After several days of trying to figure it out myself, I finally called tech support. It took about a half hour for the guy to figure out what the problem was but everything is finally fixed and I can finally post photos again on my blog :) I have some ideas for some reviews coming up that I am excited to share with you so be on the lookout for that!

OK enough rambling.... Makeup Time :)

1. Chocolate Bar palette by Too Faced
This is my forever favorite eyeshadow palette. I think I do a pretty good job of trying to mix up my palettes and use them all equally, but nothing will ever be as good as the Chocolate Bar palette in my eyes! I have let my love for this palette get to me this week and haven't been giving any of my other palettes any love. This palette is just so gorgeous and the looks you can create with all of the shadows are endless. It truly the ultimate palette... You have matte shadows, shimmer shadows, shadows that range from neutral to deep plum/maroon, amazing pigmentation, lasts forever and it smells like CHOCOLATE! I would HIGHLY recommend adding this palette to your collection! You just can't go wrong with it and it would look amazing on any skin tone or eye color!

mine isn't so pretty any more after tons of use!

2. F80 Flat Kabuki by Sigma
Sigma. I love you. Your brushes are incredible! I could really ramble on about several of their brushes, but this one is my favorite. For quite some time, I was using a Beauty Blender (which I still absolutely love and use for concealer) to apply my foundation. Then I got the F80 and started kind of alternating between the two. But for a while now, I only want to apply my foundation with the F80 by Sigma. It TRULY makes my foundation look flawless. It just makes my foundation melt into my skin and it looks so stunning. The brush is SO soft and SUPER dense and makes applying foundation so easy. You really will be amazed by the results if you have never used this brush. Your foundation will never look streaky or cakey when using this. If you want a perfect foundation application, you need this brush in your life!

3. Le Volume De Chanel by CHANEL

I got a sample of this mascara when I ordered the Chance Eau Tendre Moisture Mist by CHANEL. I don't know what it is, but it is SO hard for me to be impressed by a mascara. I find mascaras that I "like" and will use, but I can honestly say there is not one mascara that I "love". It is kind of disappointing! But I think I might see some hope! I really have been enjoying this mascara and think I will actually purchase a full size! It does a great job at giving my lashes length and volume and I like that the formula is not messy and doesn't get all over the place like some mascaras do. I am pretty excited and hope that as I continue to use it, it will become my go-to mascara. I want to have a mascara I can't live without! ;) And plus... for a luxury brand, this mascara is absolutely comparable in price to other mascaras! I feel like I am getting a steal at $30 for CHANEL when other mascaras like Benefit, Too Faced or Lancome range from $23-$32.

Le Volume De Chanel by CHANEL

4. Bronzer by Sephora in Los Cabos
This the very first bronzer I ever tried several years ago and I have continued to repurchase it over and over again. It is just a really great everyday bronzer for my lighter skin tone. It is matte and very long wearing. I have been using Benefit's Hoola bronzer quite frequently lately and the reason I have been liking it so much is because I realized it is so similar to what I have been using for years! I decided to swatch the two one day and they look almost exactly the same! Los Cabos really is a dupe for Hoola! Hoola is just the tiniest bit darker when first applied, but Los Cabos can definitely be built up! If you have been interested in trying out Hoola ($28) but aren't wanting to spend that much, save some money and purchase Los Cabos ($17)! You really can't even tell a difference! (Will show swatches below)

5. Luster Matte Long-Wear Lip Color by Sephora in Mulberry
Two words: HOLY. PIGMENTATION. I have been wanting to grab one of these Lustre Matte Lip Colors for a while now, but never could decide which one to get. I finally decided to grab Mulberry while at Sephora last weekend since it seemed like a good Fall color. And I must say that the formula of these Lip Color's blows me away! It is kind of a mixture between a lipstick and a lip stain and this has got to be one of the most pigmented lip products I own. And it really is long-wearing... It is super creamy, hydradting and this little baby is not going anywhere once you put it on your lips! If you are looking for an affordable lip product that is going to last all day or night long, you must check these out! They have a great selection from nudes to deep colors and I think I need to pick up a couple more!

Friday Five: 9/12/14

Happy Friday and Happy Weekend, pretties!! :)

I have been trying to get this post up all day but my computer is not letting me access my photos :( I am sorry! I don't know what the deal is. So for this post, instead of having pictures of everything, I am just going to link each product to their corresponding websites after my thoughts. Hopefully I can figure out what the deal is before my next post!!

Anyways....I am so excited once again to share the products I have been loving this week! These past couple of weeks I have been loving some amazing products and I can't wait to share five more awesome items with you!

1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Taupe/Ash Blonde
To be honest, this is something that is a favorite every week. I use it every single day and it is, without a doubt, a holy grail product. I am OBSESSED with brows. The bolder and thicker, the better in my eyes! I wish I had Sofia Vergara's brows (as I posted on Insta recently) but unfortunately, my brows are not as amazing. I still do love my brows and the Anastasia Brow Wiz is the perfect tool to help me enhance them to make them look natural, perfectly shaped and filled. The Brow Wiz is just pure amazingness and might just be one of the best makeup products ever invented. FOR REAL. I love how fine the pencil is and lets you get in between all of your brow hairs to fill it in so your brows look perfect and uniform throughout. It doesn't wear away and I never have to worry about re-filling them in throughout the day. This product has definitely changed my brow game and I could not live without it! If you haven't checked it out, you need to ASAP!

2. Sweet Romance lashes by House of Lashes
These are also something I use weekly and a holy grail product. (I just felt like including a couple HG products this week, because hey.. they really are "Friday Five's"!) I am again, OBSESSED, with these lashes and they are the loves of my life. One of my first blog posts was on these lashes and I stated that I loved them so much because they are so natural looking. I am not one to wear big, bold lashes and love that no one can tell that these are false. They really do look real and I feel like my makeup is "naked" without them. Even though they are completely natural looking, they give you that extra little "oomph" and makes your eyes look so pretty! They are also so affordable ($9!) and such great quality that I can use them several times before needing to toss them. I just can't say enough great things about these lashes!

Sweet Romance lashes by House of Lashes

3. Lorac Pro To Go Eye/Cheek palette
I picked this up not too long after I had gotten The Nudes eyeshadow palette by Maybelline. I loved how convenient it was to travel with The Nudes palette because it is smaller and makes it easy to toss in a small makeup bag. What's awesome about the Lorac Pro To Go is that it not only has eyeshadows, but blushes and a bronzer as well! This palette has 6 eyeshadows, 2 blushes, and 1 bronzer. It is so great how they made this palette so compact and made it the ultimate travel palette by including all of the shadows, blushes and bronzer in one! This palette includes so many things that I need to travel with creating less clutter in my bag because I don't need a separate bronzer, a separate blush, and a separate eyeshadow palatte. And I don't only just use it for something easy to travel with! Everything is so beautiful and pigmented and I reach for it at home over my larger palettes! Which is exactly what I have been doing this week :)

Lorac Pro To Go Eye/Cheek palette

4. Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Blackest Black
I have heard really good things about this eyeliner and decided I needed to check it out for myself. I prefer gel eyeliners over pencil or liquid and this gel liner definitely did not disappoint me. The formula of this eyeliner is awesome. It is super creamy and just glides right on. It stays in place all day and doesn't smudge or smear. And it really is a "blackest black". It is super pigmented and I never feel the need to add more to make it look darker. I know that I will keep re-purchasing this. I love when I find drugstore items that I will use on a regular basis. Just because something is drugstore and not high end doesn't mean it isn't an amazing product!

Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner

5. Chance Eau Tendre Sheer Moisture Mist by CHANEL
O! M! G!!!!!! I discovered CHANEL's Chance Eau Tendre a couple of months ago and fell absolute, head over heels, in love with it! It is definitely competing with my favorite scent Daisy by Marc Jacobs as my number one perfume. I was just randomly smelling different perfumes at Macy's one day and came across this one and I was blown away by it. (And I am definitely not a perfume junkie!) It is a fruity, feminine, absolutely gorgeous scent. I was so tempted to purchase it but wasn't ready to spend the $90 on it. Then last week, I was doing some online shopping and I don't even know how, but I ended up on CHANEL's website... Funny how that happens :) I saw that they offered more of like a body spray in this moisture mist that I did not see in the store. As soon as I saw it was half the price of the perfume, I felt that gave me reason to finally buy it :) After I purchased it, I already knew this would be in my Friday Five this week! I anxiously awaited for its arrival and have been using it every day since I received it. I just can't get enough! If you're looking for a new perfume, I would HIGHLY recommend checking this one out!!!

Products that didn't work for me: August 2014

Hello Beauties!

Last month I posted some products that didn't work for me. I thought that I would continue doing this as a monthly thing so that if you are thinking about purchasing these same products, you can hear the reasons why they did not work for me. As I also stated in my last month's post, just because they don't work for me does not mean they won't work for someone else! I am just posting my personal experiences with these products so that it might be helpful for others :)

1. Fix and Perfect Primer by Rimmel
I picked up this primer because I liked the matte primer from Rimmel and thought I would give this one a try too. This primer claims to have "5-in-1 results" and that it smoothes, resurfaces, brightens, mattifies and protects. I didn't really notice any of these claims in this primer. It did not give me a brightened look, didn't really create the best base to resurface or smooth, wasn't really all the mattifying and I am not really sure what it is claiming to protect?? Basically, I would have just been happy if it helped to prolong the wear of my makeup and I do not believe that it did. My makeup did not last very long as it started to break up in different places. I tried to give this primer a couple of chances and had the same results the second time. This primer was just not for me.

Rimmel Fix and Perfect Primer

2. Whish Shave Cream in Acai Grapefruit
I got this as a sample in my Birchbox last month. I was happy with the sample size when I saw it because sometimes Birchbox doesn't give the best sizes for you to try out a product. This was one of the biggest samples I had received though, so I gravitated towards this first to check it out. I opened it and the first thing I did was smell it. I am not going to lie, I was disgusted! I thought it smelled exactly like vomit! I was so grossed out and extremely disappointed it did not smell good. I tried to give it another chance a couple hours later but it still smelled the same to me. I did decide to put a little of it on my hand to see what it at least felt like and it actually feels amazing! It is super silky and has a luxurious feeling. Although I would never, ever purchase the Acai Grapefruit scent, they do offer many other scents that I would try out (like coconut or lavender) just because it really does feel great!

Whish Shave Cream

3. Anti-Breakage Keratin Oil Shampoo and Conditioner by OGX
In one of my Friday Five's, I mentioned that I had been loving the Hydrating Macadamia Oil Shampoo and Conditioner from OGX. And the only reason I ended up getting those was because I had orginally been using the Keratin Oil ones and did not like them at all. I had never really used OGX products before but thought that I would check them out. They have so many different scents with different oils and ingredients that I was not sure which one I should even try! I had been wanting to try products with Keratin Oil in it since it is supposed to increase the elasticity and hydration in your hair so that is why I decided to first try these out. After several washes, I was realizing more and more that I was not satisfied with it. I thought it did the exact opposite of what it claimed and my hair felt so much more dry and brittle looking. I also thought that the scent was a little overpowering. It smells more masculine and it would linger throughout the day. I just was not happy with it so decided to give OGX another try and have been very happy with the Macadamia Oil products.

Anti-Breakage Keratin Oil Shampoo and Conditioner by OGX

4. Soft Matte Lip Cream in Tokyo by NYX
This is the product I am most sad about that did not work for me. I have mentioned several times before that I absolutely LOVE the NYX Butter Glosses! In my opinion, they are by far the best glosses in the drugstore. Incredible creamy formula that lasts so long, looks so pretty on the lips and so affordable. So since I love the Butter Glosses so much, I thought I would feel the same about the Matte Lip Creams! Unfortunately, this was not the case. I have heard so many great things from different beauty girls that the formula is so amazing and they absolutely love them...... I thought the formula was terrible!! It looked really good right when I applied it, but five minutes later it was dried up and had lost about 80% of the pigmentation. It did not look pretty at all. I am so disappointed! Has anyone else tried these and had the same results? Or maybe some other shades are better than others? Let me know if there are any that work for you because I am willing to give others a try!

Soft Matte Lip Cream by NYX

And that is what didn't work for me in August. As I also stated in my last post, I am ok with having some products that don't work for me because that is the fun of trying different things out! You find what you like and you know when something just isn't for you.

Hope these tips help!

xoxo Kayla

Friday Five: 9/5/14

I am so excited to share my favorites from this week with you girls! I have been absolutely LOVING each one of these products SO much! The quality of every product is so incredible and I have been so impressed with them this week.

(On a side note: I will start linking the products at the end of my posts so you can easily check them out!!!)

1. Make Up For Ever HD Foundation
I have officially found my new favorite foundation and I am so happy about it! I have been on the hunt all summer for a high end foundation but couldn't find one that I absolutely loved. Either the color wasn't quite right or I didn't like the coverage... something was just always a little off. I can't believe it took me so long to try this foundation but I am so happy the universe finally brought the two of us together :) This foundation is GORGEOUS! It is a medium-to-full coverage foundation that is not too heavy or cakey looking at all. It gives your skin the most flawless look. I truly believe that in order to achieve a beautiful makeup look, you need to have a great foundation. Even though this foundation is so pretty, what I am most impressed with is how it doesn't break up throughout the day and stays looking fresh after a busy day on the go. This foundation was also specifically created for film/camera so it looks soooo pretty in pictures! I honestly could go on and on about how amazing this foundation is, but you get the idea!

Make Up Forever HD Foundation

2. Myth by MAC and 3. Butter Cream by Gerard Cosmetics
I am combining the two of these because I love both of these products alone, but together they create the most beautiful lip combo! I recently posted a picture on Instagram wearing this lip combo and I am obsessed with it! Myth is a light nude in a Satin formula lipstick from MAC and Butter Cream pinky-nude gloss from Gerard Cosmetics. When combining the two, Myth creates the perfect nude base and then Butter Cream adds that extra pop with the pale pink. Ahhh, I love it! These two lip products are so pretty and I love that I have three different options of wearing just Myth, just Butter Cream, or both together.

4. Orgasm by NARS
I mentioned this blush in my last post and how it would be a great blush for fall. After posting that, I realized it had been a little while since I wore this blush so I decided I would give it a little more attention this week! I have been wearing it everyday and I have fallen in love with it over again. It is for sure one of my favorite blushes of all time. Like I said in my last post, it is probably one of the prettiest blushes I have ever seen! If you are thinking about splurging on yourself, treat yourself to this stunning blush!

5. Urban Decay De-Slick Oil-Control Setting Spray
I have been using the All Nighter Setting Spray by Urban Decay for over a year and I really like it, but I wanted to try the Oil-Control Setting Spray that Urban Decay offers. I don't have very oily skin, but I do tend to get a little shiny on my chin and forehead throughout the day/night so I wanted to give this setting spray a try to see if it would help with that. I have been very impressed with it. It really does help control that little oily shine that I tend to get. I got the smaller bottle because I wanted to test it out before committing to the larger bottle, but I know I will be getting it as soon as I am finished with this one! Both of Urban Decay's setting sprays are phenomenal. They really do help with the longevity of your makeup. Using a setting spray is a must for me because I want all the time I spent on my makeup to be worth it and I don't want it wearing away on me!  If you have oily skin, definitely check out this setting spray! I think you will like the results!

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

Five Blushes for Fall

Hi loves!

Yay!!! It is September and in my eyes, that means it is officially FALL! I absolutely love fall and it is my favorite time of the year!

I thought that I would kick off the season by recommending five great blushes for fall. I would like to say though, that I am a firm believer that you can use any makeup product at any time of the year and it will look incredible no matter what month it is! These are just five blushes that range from drugstore to high end that I think will look especially great this fall!

1. Breath of Plum by MAC
This is the one I am most excited about for fall! I am obsessed with plum and berry colored products as of late! This is not typical of me as I usually never wear anything like that, but I just am falling in love with these colors and happy to add something new my collection! I saw Breath of Plum and I was a little intimidated at first because I thought was going to be a deep, dark color. But after swatching it, I realized it was not what I was expecting it to be and it turned out to be a beautiful light plum color. It is a sheertone blush that has a matte finish and it gives a pretty, subtle color to the cheeks. It does not look harsh whatsoever and it is going to be absolutely perfect for fall! ($22)

2. Pinched by NYX
This blush has gotten a lot of love! ;) I have used it many times already and I will definitely continue to use it throughout the fall. Part of the reason why I use it so much is because it is the perfect size to travel with and I am always bringing it with me when I need a blush. Pinched is reddish-pink color with a little bit of a gold shimmer. I like that since it is more on the red side, it gives the perfect rosy color for the cheeks which is obviously great for fall! The quality of the NYX blushes are incredible. Awesome pigmentation for a drugstore blush and so affordable ($4.99!).

3. Maybelline Master Hi-Light in Mauve
I just picked up this blush and I can't wait to start using it! It is GORGEOUS! This is by far the most versatile of these five as you are able to create different shades of this blush depending on which area of the mosaic pattern you use. In the swatch picture below, the bottom swatch is using more of the darker colors, the middle is using the lighter colors, and the top swatch is mixing all of the colors together. I love that you are able to choose what look you want! This blush has a lot of shimmer and shine and is called a "hi-lighting blush", so you wouldn't even have to worry about using a highlighter when including this is your makeup look! 4. Clinique Cheek Pop in Plum Pop
I love this blush because of the pigmentation. Plus the packaging is just so darn cute :) This is a great blush for girls who like to stick with pink blushes. Although it is called Plum Pop, it is completely pink and far from being plum. What is nice about this blush is that although it is super pigmented, it is easy to use a light hand for a lighter application or it is can be easily built up without it looking too overpowering. It does have the slightest hint of shimmer in it but you have to be looking pretty hard to see it. Such a pretty, truly pink blush! ($21)

5. Orgasm by NARS
Despite the slightly inappropriate name, this is a stunning blush! :) It is a staple blush in many beauty gurus collections. It is a gorgeous peachy-pink color with a golden shimmer. It is the perfect blush for a chilly fall day because it will add the most amazing warm glow to your cheeks! You could also choose to bypass wearing a highlighter with this blush because of how it gives off that gorgeous, natural glow on it's own. Even though it is a little on the pricey side ($30), it is so worth it! It truly is one of the prettiest blushes I have seen and I think many would agree!

I am such a sucker for blushes and I don't even know why out of all the makeup products, that blush is what I am obsessed with! I just can't help it! So with that, please let me know any great blushes that you recommend! I will most definitely check them out :)
